A journey has to start somewhere. It also needs direction, not always a destination. The journeys in life are what defines people – the good, the bad, the ugly.
What you see is The Witch Head Nebula, airbrushed with acrylics and touch-ups done with watercolour pencils. The dimensions are 20cm x 15 cm, so it’s quite a small canvas. Took a good part of an afternoon, probably around 4-5 hours.
Interestingly enough, I had much less clogging this time around then when airbrushing models. Go figure.
I still have lots to learn about airbrush control and thinning. It’s all trial and error, and error, and error for now.
